Three years ago, Crypto Idle Miner was released on Google Play and AppStore making us one of the first play-to-earn projects available on both major platforms. Later on, the same year, Hora Token ($HORA) was released!
Fast forward to today, after over 500 000 downloads, with over 59 000 token holders, and one hell of a journey, it’s time for a change!
Welcome to the second chapter of something amazing — $HORA is switching to the Binance Smart Chain Network!
Why BSC?
After a few years on the TRON Network, we have realized that TRON is not providing us with the tools and possibilities for further growth of the $HORA. Our main exchange (PoloniDEX) is closing down soon, and that’s just one of the problems. The other problem is that the TRON network got 5x more expensive as of last year. That has significantly impacted our current way of distributing tokens and crypto ecosystem growth.
Having all of this in mind and what’s best for our players, we decided to move from TRON and switch to a much more active, widely accepted, and popular blockchain, Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
BSC is currently thriving! Ethereum gas fees have moved a lot of developers to BSC, and we’ve decided to follow the momentum.
First of all, exchange possibilities are much larger on BSC. This platform attracts many investors, which makes the price of $HORA much more susceptible for growth. With this new approach, we want to bring $HORA closer to investors and traders to reach the full potential of our metaverse!
Secondly, there are a lot of NFT marketplaces on BSC, which will pave the way for the implementation of NFTs in our game (more on that soon).
And last but not least, a lot of marketing potential comes with BSC.
Changes in the current Withdraw System
Once the token is deployed on the BSC Mainnet, players will be responsible for transaction fees. This means that the current limits and caps for token withdrawal will be removed, so players can withdraw whenever they wish.
Transaction fees will be paid in BNB, and all interaction will be done via web3 clients, like Metamask. This was a necessary step, which had to be done to preserve the future of our game and enable us to develop many more blockchain-based mechanisms.
We need to inform you that THE LAST FREE WITHDRAW WILL HAPPEN ON 24th OF DECEMBER. This refers to the old system (TRC20 token and 10k $HORA minimum). PoloniDEX is closing on the 31st of December. Whoever wants to trade $HORA will have more than enough time to do that. As for $HORA BEP20 withdraw details, that will be provided additionally, don’t worry! Give us some to set up everything properly, so please have some patience! 😊
Your TRC20 Hora Tokens
Even though our primary token will be hosted on BSC, all of the players will be able to transfer TRON tokens to the BSC network via our bridge, which will be live once the token is deployed to BSC Mainnet. In other words, your funds are safu!
However, we’re not planning on shutting down TRON Tokens. Quite the opposite! We’re planning to be on multiple chains so that players can choose blockchain. Everything will be neatly tied together with the Hora Bridge and easy as it can be!
